BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – March 12, 2020 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced Thursday that it is cancelling the remaining rounds of the WCHA Men's Postseason due to concerns over the COVID-19 health situation.

"In light of the current health issue gripping the nation, we are cancelling the remainder of the WCHA Postseason." WCHA President and Men's League Commissioner Bill Robertson said. "The health and safety of our student-athletes as well as our coaches, officials, fans, institutional and league staff is our top priority. Over the last several days we have discussed options for continuing the competition but at the end of the day, we felt it was best for all concerned to end the season immediately."

Feel bad for guys like Rauhauser who came back for their Senior year to have it end like this. It is what it is though......

All those Minny St Seniors came back to try to win an NCAA game.....now nothing. Stinks for them too....

Stinks all around. It's not a surprise given what's been cancelled the past 18 hours.

If the NCAA's are held you have to think Mankato is the WCHA representative given they were league champions. Though I suspect it's only a matter of time before that is cancelled as well.

Well, at least BG picked the right year for a mid-season collapse.

If that's the case, Bemidji should be in as an at-large too.

I don't think we're getting the NCAA tournament at all this year. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
