Following the midweek victory over Robert Morris, our 7th-ranked Falcons (9-1-0) will head to Big Rapids, MI for a WCHA conference series with the Ferris State Bulldogs (0-4-0). Game 1 will be on Saturday, 1/2, with Game 2 on Sunday, 1/3. Both games will begin at 3:07pm. The full series will be available to stream ($) on
https://www.flohockey.tv.
Ferris is fresh off a 6-5 OT loss to Northern Michigan on Wednesday night.
A few weeks ago, our boys had a home/home series with this team, sweeping them 3-2 and 6-2. I'm hoping for more of the same this weekend to get a strong start to WCHA play, as there are only 14 league games this year, meaning every single game is so, so important. We can't afford to be dropping these types of games.

Lineups are out and I see Daly is not in the lineup nor is he listed as a scratch. Is this an oversight?

Yes. On the official lines, he’s listed as scratched. I think it’s just a typo.
Max Johnson is out of the lineup again today. I hope he’s back soon.

Kruse got a PP goal with a couple minutes left, and BG leads 1-0 after 20.
We’re being outshot 16-11 so far. Need to tighten that up.

Ferris ties the game about 3 minutes into the 2nd period. Defense was slightly out of position on the PK, and now we’re knotted at 1.

END OF TWO: Falcons lead, 2-1.
We're looking for our first WCHA win, and we're going to be pushed hard here in the third, on the road. Time for the boys to close the deal.

Craggs tips one in, and then before I can even type it out, Fyten adds one as well.
BG is leading 4-1 now. 11:16 left in the game.

FINAL: FALCONS WIN, 6-1!
Great win, boys. Really nice effort in the final 20 minutes. Always great to get a win on the road, especially in conference play.
7 consecutive wins. 10-1-0 on the season. 1-0-0 in WCHA action. 18-1-2 in our last 21, dating back to last season.
I love this team right now. Get the sweep tomorrow afternoon.

Taylor Schneider knots it up at 1 on a shorthanded goal with about 10 to play in the first.
