Following a series that challenged us deeply and finally got us back to our winning ways, our 13th ranked Falcons (17-8-1) will have a home/home series with Alabama Huntsville (3-12-1) to conclude conference play. Wednesday’s game will be held at the Slater Family Ice Arena at 7:07pm, while Sunday’s game will be at Huntsville, beginning at 4:07pm. Both games will be available to stream through FloHockey.

UAH has had a rough year, but their goalie is actually fairly legit. We’ll have an interesting challenge on our hands - we really need to sweep to have a chance to finish 2nd in the WCHA and keep the dreams of a 2nd NCAA tournament berth in 3 years alive. This could also be a potential first round series matchup, so it's important that we set the tone with them, if that is indeed going to be the case.

He’s out of the lineup again tonight for Game 1.

Falcons led 12-5 in shots and seemed to carry play, just couldn't find the back of the net. Let's hope that changes next time out.

GOAL! Max Johnson gets his first in about 6 weeks - we needed him to come alive. Threw the monkey off his back for the celly, too.

GAME 2:

Zack Rose will start in net. Following Dop's 55 minute shutout on Wednesday, I'm a little curious about us going away from the hot hand... I guess we just have to trust coach.

Gavin Gould remains out. I'm hoping this is all precautionary and we're going to get him back when the playoffs start in 2 weeks.

UAH's video is horrible, with washed-out ice, the score box blocking action, the puck being off-screen, and for some reason switching to team logos during stoppages.

I was just about to post this broadcast may actually be worse than BG's. It's a close call.

It's far, far worse than BG's. The thing I dislike most about our home broadcasts is that we insist on showing a "penalty box cam" for the last 10 seconds of someone sitting in the box, and it takes up way too much of the screen. I'd much rather have a small timer on the score bug that shows how much time is left on the powerplay. I still don't feel like ours is near as bad as some others in the league.

This is just downright awful. Poor video quality, random cuts with no purpose, and bad camera work, in terms of not knowing how to follow a puck.
