at St. Thomas (1/19, 1/20)

BG travels to St. Paul for two games against the Tommies on Thursday and Friday nights, make a note on your calendars. Falcons have won six straight and are coming off a major home sweep of Bemidji St., while St. Thomas is coming off a decent home split against Michigan Tech. Rico has them playing better hockey as of late so this series will likely not be a pushover.

Won’t be a pushover, but it’s one where we need 5+ (and really 6) points to keep pace if we wanna win the MacNaughton Cup.
Let’s go boys! Stretch the streak to 8!

So no more getting kicked out of their arena for high school hockey on Saturday nights?

They're going high-end on it too. They're aiming to build a $130 million facility, not including another $40 million they'll have to find somewhere to demo out 3 buildings in the way.
For comparison, Penn State built their palace a decade ago for $90 million.
Crazy.

Keep it rolling Falcons! If our defense was a little more solid this team would be such a contender

A graphic in the broadcast updated SOG to BG, 12-7.
Either way, BG is carrying play for the most part. Just gotta find a way to finish a couple of good looks.

St. Thomas ties the game at 1. Bad turnover leads to a 2x1 and ends up in the back of our net.
4 minutes to play in the middle frame and St. Thomas has been buzzing.
