There's hockey this weekend. It's against a fresh D1 team and new CCHA foe. Plausible BG loses both games given how the first weekend went. I am sad and disappointed in the state of my favorite program on campus.

Is it bad that I wish we didn’t have to play this season? We’re dreadful. I’m so disappointed with the direction of the program since 2019. We need a full reset, and I’m pretty much checked out for the season, except for the handful of games I am planning to attend.

Scardina and Fyten on the ice will completely change this team. The school dragging their feet like they are, is doing more damage to the future. If they don't have a firm grasp on the situation at this point, they're all incompetent and shouldn't be handling this investigation.

Zach Rose in their net makes this series difficult.

I think it's pretty obvious they don't have a grasp on the situation. It's likely in the individual protect your own ass part of the situation.

Where are the police? They've been investigating the situation for criminal acts. Why haven't we heard from them either?

The wheels of justice grind slowly. The University is going to be extra careful with this situation based on recent happenings on campus. We will need to be patient.

You’re 100% right. I’m frustrated that we don’t have all the answers right now, but all we can do is support a thorough investigation that will lead to a healthier program long-term.

Bologna. Penn State acted within 48 hours when the Joe Paterno cover up came to light, yet here we are weeks into this with BG and nothing.

Yeah...that's a bit weird. I suspect..It's either a deeper and more pervasive issue than many suspected and/or they're getting stonewalled by the parties involved...making it difficult to conclude the investigaton

…so do you want the university to act fast and fire Eigner even if he is exonerated by the investigation? Then it’s a lawsuit.

It sucks to wait. I want to get this cloud hanging over the program off of our backs as much as anyone. But we have to do it right. And we have to trust that those involved are doing everything they can to complete this investigation.

At the end of the day, I value a clean program. We need to make sure we can be that moving forward, by whatever means necessary. Even if it means waiting longer than we want to.

Or they are making sure of the validity of the claims. They HAVE TO GET THIS RIGHT after the Stone Foltz case. We will know in time. They can't cover it up. Let's let them get it right.

I see what you're saying...but if it was a minor, one time issue...how long does it take to verify or disprove that?

Maybe a deeper rooted issue? Perhaps stuff has been going on for a long time with the program and they need to interview former players and the like? I can see that taking some time. Only other thought is lawyers are heavily involved and there are gag orders in place.
