The last time I saw a purple cow was when I was high. The past few years I've gone into these Maverick weekends with a feeling of dread and have been rewarded handily. Same feeling this year, though we do lead them in goals against and PK. But there's hope. Pro wrestling night on Saturday along with the annual teddy bear toss. Sounds like a good promotion. Maybe that'll jumpstart the back half of the season.

Sounds like Bevilaqua should be returning this weekend. For the first time in a very long time, the plan is to dress 7 defensemen for at least one game. It's almost mind blowing how much of this season has been played with no healthy scratches.

Getting healthy would be massive. It’s not something people really think about, but for the better part of the past 2 years, we’ve had a ton of injury issues.
Here’s hoping the team can build some momentum going into February with a healthier roster.

3-2 good guys after two. Let’s see how the final 20 unfold.
For the first time all season we have 7 D and healthy scratches.

So my dad says before the puck drop don’t give up one quickly. What do we do? We screw up a zone entry with an icing, lose the draw and give one up at the 19 sec mark. Sigh.

That was about as well as we can play. Great effort for 60 min. They were a bit better than us but they made one more mistake than we did. Great win.

We’re a step or two slower tonight, took a bunch of penalties and their active PK is giving us fits. 1-0 after one Mavs. Tough night ahead.

It’s pro wrestling night, and they’re hitting us with a chair.
