Final series of the regular season is here, as our Falcons (13-18-1) head up to Marquette to take on the Northern Michigan Wildcats (10-14-6).
We're only 3 points behind 2nd place Minnesota State, and 1 point behind 3rd place Michigan Tech and 4th place St. Thomas, so there is still a lot to play for this weekend, but we're likely going to need certain results to go our way to earn home ice for the playoffs next weekend.
Fingers crossed. We'll see what happens.

This broadcast continues to be the whiniest in the league, too. My goodness.

1-0 NMU after the first. We’re playing 4x4 when the middle frame starts.

1 goal in the last 7 periods of Hockey. Calling anyone with eligibility and has some offensive skill.

2-0 NMU.
Looking like we’re about to suffer our 19th loss of the season.

What reason is there to remain positive about this program? I’m looking for anything here.

Guess Sholl and Pohlkamp made the right call to not follow their brothers footsteps. From playing for a chance at first place last week to not even being in control of home ice now. What a wild 2 weeks.

Well, I guess I don't need to make plans to be in BG next weekend. Sigh. Looks like a rematch in Houghton.

The intensity from the winning streak just disappeared. I can’t believe it

We've all seen this movie before.
Like many, many times.
