On Thursday, October 10, our Falcons (2-0-0) return to the Slater Family Ice Arena for an exhibition contest against Robert Morris. The game will begin at 7:07pm, and tickets are super cheap with it being an exhibition, if you’re on the fence about going. Otherwise, the game will be our first opportunity to see how the Midco production looks.

RMU has not played yet this season, so this will be an opener of sorts for them. I’m sure lots of guys will be out on the ice, assuming that is how Willy wants to do things with this being an exhibition.

Even if it doesn’t count officially - go get a win, Falcons!

BG up 5-2 in the third.

We’ve taken 8 of 9 points from AHA. I think we have a real shot to win their league. RIT will be a big test!

All kidding aside, Willly has these guys playing hard.

Most of the game was a lot closer than the final score. BG kind of slacked off the second half of the 2nd, RMU ran out of gas in the third. I think BG scored on 4 straight shots before the RMU goalie pulled himself "injured."

The forecheck, the physicality, it's going to be a fun season to watch.

Anybody catch the Midco feed? I kept looking at the TVs in the suites, but never saw a replay on anything being reviewed.

I watched on MidCo. Lots of replays. Piel did pxp with Paluch doing color.

I realized this morning that I didn't wear my lucky shirt last night...and we put up 7.

I need to rethink this lucky shirt concept.

Sat down with the kids to watch the replay of the 2nd and 3rd periods, and no complete replays can be watched. 109 Mbps internet, and I get the spinny wheel, followed by an "unable to play at this time" message. Took a couple times to even get the "condensed" version, that's 20 minutes long.

I just fired it up on my iPad and the condensed version worked fine. Not sure if they did something on their end…try it again?

I was able to watch the condensed game. The full replay wasn't working. Tried another game from last weekend, and it wouldn't work either.

On another note, RMU beat Simon Fraser last night, 2-1.
