Following a weekend off, our Falcons (5-3-0) next host Michigan Tech (6-4-0) in CCHA play. Both games will begin at 7:07pm and will stream on Midco.

The Huskies have been solid early this year, but they are coming off a home sweep at the hands of Minnesota State, so I'm sure we will see a pissed off team this weekend. This being a rivalry series, you know emotions will definitely be high for this one. It's definitely disappointment when a big series like this falls over a holiday break when there won't be students or a band contributing to the atmosphere, so here's hoping they have a great week of practice to make up for it. This is a big series for us any way you look at it.

I'll be at Saturday's game. Things are about to get dirrrrrrrrty.

Play as ugly as we did two weekends ago and we'll get swept. Tech's better then St. Thomas and we could only squeak out a tie one night. Got to play better if you want better results starts by finding people to put the puck in the net.

Light crowd, as expected. Crazy refereeing. The last two penalties they called on us the ref actually soot there and thought about it before putting his arm up. Tech sold both if the (embellishment?). Down 2 after one, both were PP goals that Moore seemed to get a piece of. Not sure we can out score these guys 3-0.

Well, that was better. We outplayed them on a 4x4 but they scored with 2:30 left in the period. The combined speed of all three Tech goals when they crossed the goal line was less than 5 mph.

I think the most surprising thing about the game was Tech had an entire section of fans and they did not do a single chant.

They were surprisingly well behaved.

The guy that plays for Fort Wayne left, nothing to chant about this year.

Looked like a team that's played 2 games in 3 weeks. Horrible scheduling this season.

Tied up now and Stoever left with an injury after the 2nd goal. Didn't look good at all.

Gave up 2 goals in less than 30 sec then killed off a 5 min major. OT. We at least got one point on the weekend.

Pick up the second point in the shootout. Two series in a row where we get 2 out of 6 points.
