@ Bemidji State (2/21-22)

It’s mid-February, and that means the CCHA playoff push is in full swing. Next up, our Falcons (15-10-4, 3rd CCHA) head to west to take on the Bemidji State Beavers (11-15-4, 8th CCHA) in a crucial series. Friday night’s game will begin at 8:07pm EST, with Saturday night’s beginning at 7:07pm.
Bemidji enters following an off week, but before the off week, they swept Tech in Houghton 5-3 and 6-5 for their biggest wins of the season. They’re a weird team to figure out, as before that, they had been swept by Ferris and they also were swept by Northern Michigan a few weeks before. So they are certainly capable of losing to anyone. But with their grab and hold style of hockey, room to skate might be hard to come by. When they came to our building in January, we only got 3 points out of the weekend because we gave up extra attacker goals in both games, but it felt like we should have swept. So, hopefully, we’ll get things figured out and finish the job up there this weekend.
