2025- former players and others

Post by bgbill »

Combination refresh of the former players thread "(2023)" and chance to note nice article about Evan Pivnick. BG's tradition of helping to train students to find a life in hockey other than on ice continues. Good reason to support Falcon Media / Falcon Radio to keep the pipeline supplied.

Was waiting for something from him. Saturday, watched he and Immonen practicing some drills during the team's ice time. Only two players taking advantage that day.

Savannah's next game is Friday night against the Florida Everblades. Seth's brother Andrew plays for Florida.

Cameron Wright is currently 13/11/24 in 59 games for AHL Bakersfield. Out of that class I would not have guessed that he’d be the one to find some success at that level. Good on ya.

Someone else is back with his SPHL team.
2-time BGSU Intramural Curling Champion.

With a 10 minute misconduct for "verbal abuse of officials." To get that, in senior whaleshit hockey.....

Named the ECHL MVP for the 2nd year in a row today.

Free moneymaking idea: Have a Walleye night with a dual Hawkins bobblehead (half BG, half Walleye) giveaway. Invite and recognize BG guys that have played pro in Toledo (recent guys like Kruse and Craggs, Spezia, etc. all the way back to Iain Duncan?). Let them drop the puck, play a mixed highlight video from their times on the ice in both places, etc.

I bet you would draw a TON of Northwestern Ohio hockey/Walleye fans that may not have been to our building before, and if they have a good time, they’ll probably come back from more.

All those current guys (Spezia included) were in Slater's suite for one of the playoff games.

After one season, the Seattle Kraken have fired HC Dan Bylsma...seems like he got a raw deal.

Francis is moving up so a new GM is coming in that wants a clean slate. Is it too late for him to apply for the open assistant coach position? Only half kidding...
