And just like that, BG non-conference is released:

4 B1G, all home-and-home
2 AH
2 ECAC
0 Nacho
3 exhibitions strategically scheduled, all home games
This is a pretty good OOC schedule.

Home series against Princeton, home and homes with Ohio State and Notre Dame. That’s some good business.

Good schedule. I must have missed the ruling about 3 exhibitions. Last I knew it was only 2 allowed.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 10:28 am And just like that, BG non-conference is released:

Re: 2025-2026 Season
Looks like Saturday home games this season start at 6:07 instead of 7:07.
Re: 2025-2026 Season
That would align with what the rest of the CCHA does.Falcon Frenzy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 2:57 pm Looks like Saturday home games this season start at 6:07 instead of 7:07.
The schedule on the athletics site has indeed changed the Saturday game times, so I buy it.

Re: 2025-2026 Season
I see the dynamic pricing has really kicked in. My goodness.
Tickets for the 2 seats nearest the aisle at both ends of every row, for every reserved section and for every game this season, are somewhere between $3 and $5 more expensive than other tickets in that section.
For example, there's a section (C) for the Notre Dame game that will run you $39 BEFORE FEES FOR ONE TICKET to sit in a reserved seat on the aisle. That's twice as expensive as a ticket to see the Walleye!

I also see Section D is reserved. Was that the case last year? Why do I have it in my head that Section D was GA last year?

Re: 2025-2026 Season
I think it was normally reserved in years past, but I also thought it was GA last season. We always sit across the way in Section E because it’s the same view, it’s at the end we shoot twice, and it’s GA instead of reserved like D was. But yeah, I thought it was different last year.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:29 am I also see Section D is reserved. Was that the case last year? Only Saturday games listed as 6PM starts are in BG. ALL the away games are currently scheduled for 7PM (local).mbenecke wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 8:09 pmThat would align with what the rest of the CCHA does.Falcon Frenzy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 2:57 pm Looks like Saturday home games this season start at 6:07 instead of 7:07.

Isn't E where the Bleacher Creatures/student section used to be when you were a student? C'mon, admit it --- the only reason you sit in E is it reminds you of your youth.mbenecke wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 9:04 amI think it was normally reserved in years past, but I also thought it was GA last season. Re: 2025-2026 Season
Our website is wrong for the other teams. For whatever reason, whoever is in charge of putting it together doesn’t understand the rest of the league does things that way. It often gets changed closer to the week of the game.pdt1081 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 9:49 amOnly Saturday games listed as 6PM starts are in BG. I was just looking at other schedules around the league, and it’s basically 7:07 Friday, 6:07 Saturday local time across the board. St. Thomas is the only school in the league that hasn’t posted their start times yet, but I’m pretty sure they do it the same way.

Re: 2025-2026 Season
That’s what got me started on E, for sure. But now I sit there because of where it’s at. I sit about halfway up the section -now glass view was overrated from that angle because of the backup goalie being in the way. Worst thing about sitting in Section E now is that the paths to the locker rooms from the ice cause them to close off the exits at both ends of the section with 4:00 minutes left in the period (which is admittedly a long time) but we’re there often enough to know to anticipate that. What’s worse is the people who are rude to the ushers and can’t understand they are just following protocol, and then they try to duck under the rope anyway or they stand in the aisle for 4 minutes of gametime and block everyone’s view. THAT is an issue I wish DVDM could somehow address.
