On Friday, October 17, our Falcons will return home for another exhibition, this time with Windsor. It’ll begin at 7:07pm and will be available to stream on Midco.

Hoping to see continued improvement and growth. This past weekend at Niagara was bad, we need to bounce back.

Willy said during his morning phone call with a Clint that he is treating this as a real game. No more "freebies" getting guys experience at this level in different situations. First three games, everybody played and he tried to keep ice times fairly even to give guys a fair look. Not everybody will play this game.

Said he expects Windsor to throw the kitchen sink at this game since they have nothing to lose.

I'm not exactly sure what to expect. I'm the past, this game has had a tendency to devolve into a bit of ugliness, especially with Windsor. But, for the first time ever, the Windsor players have the ability to transfer to a D1 university next season. That aspect alone can completely change their approach to this game. Knowing this could change to a recruitment visit as much as an exhibition game has to be on some of the players' minds.

Gus is a scratch tonight due to an injury. No word on the details, let’s hope it’s not serious.

2-1 us. PK finally gave one up. This is the best period we’ve played all season.

Looks like an awesome crowd. Great idea to have this on Friday of Family Weekend.

Another good period. Good puck movement on the PP. A lot of good scoring chances. Have no idea how their guy was so open on their second goal.

Norris gets slew-footed, with no call, and probably won't play the last 8 minutes of the game. He skated around during the media timeout, and struggled to put weight on his foot.

Ends in a 6-3 win. Norris did come out for a couple shifts, but they were very short, and he didn't look himself.

I was glad to see Norris even get back on his skates after that. Rymon played exceptionally well. Strong on the forecheck, quick on the backcheck, excellent passing. It was great to see him bury that breakaway. Minville also played well. Steinman struggled. Hs rebound control was off at times and I would think he’d want that goal back. PP looked good. Great puck movement though no goals. That first line of Rymon/Doran/Waters is a keeper.

I’d say this is the first glimpse of what this team could be. We have a chance against the Lakers (I wasn’t sure about that before this game).
