Following a tough home series with Bemidji, our Falcons (2-3-1, 2-1-1 CCHA) next head to Mankato, MN to take on the Minnesota State Mavericks (4-2-2, 1-1-0 CCHA) in what could prove to be a pivotal conference series by the time February and March are here. Here's hoping we're not going to let this past weekend against Bemidji beat us twice - it's clear we have a talented team, but they're still taking time to gel together and learn the college game. So, here's hoping we go up there and give the Mavs a fight, at least. Friday at 8:07 EST, Saturday at 7:07 EST, both on Midco.
Go Falcons, beat Minnesota State!

Same here. We just aren’t very good yet. Gotta learn how to win against good teams.

Power play currently running at 13%. Gotta do better there.

Well we wasted no time blowing our 2 goal lead tonight.

Losing now and Moore gets pulled.
Not good hockey.

We come out flying to go up two, then make three really bad plays.

Moore just can’t stop a thing any longer.
He looked the same at Niagara, just can’t make fairly routine stops.
Now in his defense the clearing pass by Sternj was garbage and two PP’s, but he’s struggled with even basic stops and puck control.

He's very poor fundamentally. His size let's him get away with some things but watching him play makes me cringe. His team didn't do him many favors either.

Outplayed for most of the period but Morneau with a beautiful snipe 4x4 to tie it at 3.
Could use a PP here, ref.

Goaltending just has not been good enough tonight. Basically giving Mankato the game.
3 really soft goals tonight.

Nice defense in the OT period seeing as they had the puck for four minutes.
