Following the weekend sweep of Ferris State, our Falcons (4-3-3) next head out on the road to take on the St. Thomas Tommies (4-5-2) in our first trip to their new building - and in what is also their last year as a member of the CCHA. Friday night's game at 8:07pm EST, and Saturday night's game at 7:07pm EST. Both will be available to watch on Midco.
Despite their meh record, St. Thomas was picked by many as the preseason favorite in the CCHA, so this team will likely improve record-wise as they go. They are currently 1st in the league in goals per game, and they serve the least penalty minutes per game of any team in the league, so it will be imperative that we take advantage of our chances against them. We have a large advantage over them in the faceoff circle (57% vs. 47%) so that's something we'll need to continue with in order to leave the weekend with some points.
Go Falcons!

Gus is a scratch tonight. Don’t feel good about that.

Their arena seats 4,000.
Must be 3,000 on their way to the game.

Steinman was huge in the 1st. Skating well, however undisciplined play showing up again.

Doran scores in overtime, BG wins 3-2. Team needs to learn game management skills to protect leads late in games.

Well, the league awarded us photo of the night. That's worth a point right there!

Probably figured they'd better do something since the "Top 10 Plays of the Week" included 2 Ferris goals, and 0 of the 14 BG goals....

Any news on why Gus was out last night? We sure could have used him.

He's bad at "staying healthy," according to this week's social video (X isn't currently loading for me to provide link). He blocked a shot with his hand during the 2nd period last Saturday against Ferris.
