Following the winter exhibition walloping of the USNTDP, our Falcons (8-5-3) next have a non-conference home and home series with the Ohio State Buckeyes (6-10-0) on a quick turnaround this weekend. Friday night’s game is in Columbus at 6:30pm, and will be available to stream on B1G+ for a subscription fee. Saturday night will be home in Bowing Green at 6:07pm, and will stream on Midco.

This OSU team seems to be down from what we have seen from them in previous years. Their most recent game was a 6-5 OT win against Minnesota nearly a month ago, but they had lost 6 straight before that. Real opportunity here for BG to beat Ohio State for the first time since the famous 8-2 drubbing in Columbus back in October 2018 - we’re 0-8-1 since then against the Buckeyes.

Really excited about the home Saturday sellout. That’s a real chance for an amazing atmosphere at the Slate. Can’t wait.

We used to dominate aOSU on the ice until about 2001. Since then, we are roughly 12-34 against them and they've won 8 straight. The BG site says the all time series is 94-81-9 BG, starting in 1969. The aOSU site says BG leads 98-84-10, starting in 1966. Anyone know why they are different totals and years?

I was at that game. The sound of B-G-S-U drowning out O-H-I-O during Hang on Sloopy was awesome.

Line chart is out. Nieds and Gus paired on defense, Higgins with Norris. Forward lines are pretty standard.

Awesome feed from OSU, once it started..... apparently, adding sound, clock, and scores is above their budget

We kinda win the draw in their end, their guy beats our D to the puck which results in a 2-on-1 and a 1-0 Buckeye lead.

We close out the period with two men in the box down 1-0. We didn’t light the world on fire that period.

Hope we can get it going this 2nd period....
