Why it's ok to hate tOSU.

Post by BGDrew »

http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?t ... ge=4&pp=20

I know this thread was posted in another thread, but I just wanted to post this again to say how much I despise tOSU right now. I am pulling for nothing more than for Siggy to roll into town, face 35 shots/night and record a you-know-what both nights just so we can make them look like the A-holes they are. I'm going to be screaming my cheers at the game, and I hope that there's tOSU fans sitting in front of me.

"We can beat these guys!"
Ok, time to watch Miracle, BEAT THE BUCKS!

Right on Drew!!! I hope we stick it to those jerks. I remember last year when OSU (don't EVER give them so much respect as to put a "t" before that!!! ) came here that their fans were bigger d-bags than Michigan's hockey fans. Having been to Ann Arbor for a couple of games, I NEVER thought that was possible. They're just too damn full of themsleves, and I hope their team gets pimp-smacked by the Sigalet bros.

Oh, and remember to call them the Blackeyes whenever you refer to their team!

Wasn't that the game in which a few punches were thrown at the end instead of handshakes? Even if it wasn't, screw em, they can just go home crying during the playoffs.

You know when you switch the letters around to swear a team out without actually saying it? (i.e. Ruck the Fockets) Try doing that with tOSU (Buck the *ucks). I think that is a definitely not a coincidence. I actually woudn't mind if Unger took a shot Saturday if they're playing the goon-style that they're so proud of.

I hate tOSU (I say that as an insult, they are too full of themselves)

(Conspiracy theory Alert). It's so Krebs can announce his new position at tOSU. This way everyone will say, "well at least he was upfront with us".

tOSU has some of the highest penalty minues in the nation. We absolutely have to capitalize on the PP. I know we're grinders and work hard for our points, but we're going to need at least a single one-timer. We can't be afraid of their goon style of hockey and we gotta be able to stand tough to them (hopes for Unger to go on a war path). If there ever was a more important weekend for Siggy to stand on his head, this is it.

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I don't think I need any more reasons to hate OSU....

two things I noticed, though:

1) As much as those guys hate Michigan, they certainly got plenty of use out of the banging a cowbell (or whatever that triangle block of wood or whatever is called in the band) and chanting "GO BLUE" (replaced with GO *UCKS or whatever) at the end. I don't know if it originated somewhere else and Michigan stole it, but around the CCHA, I relate that chant to Michigan, and Michigan alone. If it *did* start somewhere else, it wasn't at Ohio State.

2) I'm still impressed with their ability to spell their school name with their hands. I think they get class credit for that. Even the 50 year old dropouts.
