just looking over the main athletic site and the media guide this year... Jordan is 43 saves away from 3,000 for his career (3rd in BG history), and currently is within .1% of Tyler Masters' record for save percentage in a season. (92.2% to Siggy's 92.1%). His GAA is currently the 6th best in team history for a single season, and isn't far behind 5th place on that list.

Also, the two games this weekend were the first two times we've had to pull the goalie late all year. (That of course either means we're winning, or losing big, and isn't an "important" stat, just kind of a fun one!)

You may want to pore over the stats a little more closely. Prior to this weekend, we pulled the goalie in at least six games, three of them with Jordan in goal.

really? looking over the stats (http://bgsufalcons.collegesports.com/sp ... mcume.html) it shows 2 games with an "EMPTY NET" for 8 or so minutes total. Unless that stat isn't truly reflected in that way through the stat sheet. Which now that I do some simple math seems like there is something funky with that. 2 times for 8 minutes would mean pulling him with 4 minutes left...

But the other stats I threw up there are right... I'm pretty sure..

yeah, well, we go to every game, so I knew we pulled before this weekend. Just too old to remember without looking them up.

I think what he was getting at with the pulling the goalie late stat is the act of pulling the goalie to get an extra attacker. I have seen Siggy, and others, be pulled and replaced throughout the year, but I have never seen it done to get another attacker except on a delayed penalty on the opposing team this year.

Siggy was pulled for an extra attacker at the end of the 4-2 loss at UNO in Nov 12, and at the end of both games at NMU (Jan 21-22). Horrell was pulled at the end of the Providence game, Dec 30.

Horrell also pulled for the extra attacker when we played MSU and UM at home

I was JUST going to post the same thing, bill! I'd almost forgotten all about that. I've especially tried to forget about that Michigan game. Horrell played his ass off, and we got screwed out of at least one point that night on the wave-off inside of 19 mins. into the 3rd. Incidentally, was that Shegos in charge of that game? If it was I'm going to lose it. That would be two games against the top two teams in the conference in which his boneheaded calls have blown a chance to take at least one point.

I know we bitch a lot about the officiating in the CCHA, but when you've got a guy like Shegos just waiting to blow his whistle against us, I think we've got a pretty legitimate beed. F**k him.
