Perani Cup

I can't find much information about the Perani Cup... someone further my knowledge - I know it's something good to get... but how does one get it? etc etc etc....

It's an accumulation of how many "stars of the game" you get. It was mentioned here somewhere, but you get (I think) 5 points for being the first star, 3 for second star, and one for third star, then your points are added up and ranked against everyone else in the nation.
Most points wins.

I could very well be mistaken (and usually am), but I believe this is a CCHA award, not NCAA. That doesn't diminish its significance by any means, but just to be fair...
