Hey Guys-
That girl everyone keeps refering to... is OBSESSED with HOCKEY! Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm the obsessive compulsive marketing director behind the HobeyBaker campaign. I'll let you know whats going on...
So far, I have successful passed out over 1,000 flyers at each of the last 3 home games. Additionally, I have put table tents on tables in several dining halls. I have large flyers up in most classrooms on campus. And I am in the process of illegally sliding flyers under every dormroom on campus.
If anyone is interested in helping out, just send me an email. I am working on getting laptops at this coming friday's game (UM home) so that we can register people to vote. Trying to work out all the dirty details. Thanks for the acknowlegement.

You, woman, are my personal hero. If I was still there, I'd have done all this stuff myself!! (or at the very least helped you in your quest)
My only suggestion is to maybe chalk the sidewalks (assuming they're ice free, which they weren't this time last year) and/or to make one of those huge sheets to hang in between the trees on the quad in front of Anderson.
In the meantime, keep it up!!! Ay Ziggy Zoomba and Jordan for Hobey and all the other things I keep telling people out here!

All you have to do is go to Saddlemire and get the Res Life stamp put on them! If any RA catches you sliding them under the doors without the stamp, you will get tossed from the dorm. So if you want to take the chances of not reaching everyone, either get the stamp or skip putting them under the RA doors and watch your back. I've done this with basketball ones so believe me on this!!!
Also, would you be the same girl in Mr. Bryden's marketing class that was hanging up the sign on the dry erase board Wednesday?!

Also, be careful about chalking on the sidewalks. There has been much talk recently about that. Just a heads up.

No, but he was my favorite player the four years I/he was there, if that counts for anything
I think I might have even verbally admitted it once, but everyone knew anyway, well before I did.
Chalking the sidewalks

Hey Guys-
I actually just bought a huge thing of chalk so that I could chalk the sidewalks... anyone know why this wouldn't be a good idea?
Additionally, I went to reslife (and the union) to try to get the flyers stamped, and they wouldn't allow it. Simply because the flyers were not sponsored by a student organization or university department. I'm going to see if Falcon Hockey will give me the okay to put their name at the bottom of the flyer.
And Yes, this is the girl who hung up a poster in Bryden's Marketing class... are you in my class as well?
Anyone looking to help pass out flyers at Fridays home game let me know. Thanks again for the support.

I've never heard anything illegal about sidewalk chalking but I'm sure there is some rule against it somewhere. With the flyers, even with a Falcon Hockey logo at the bottom, you still will get kicked out of the dorms if you get caught. That approved by res life stamp NEEDS to be there...it's stupid but what can ya do?!
And yeah, I'm in your class. I sit back by all the hockey players!

The deal with the chalking is that it is only supposed to be for organizations and clubs to announce meetings, and there are only certain places where it can be done. No walls, steps or anything, and only in certain areas, I think. You may be able to find the actual guidelines online somewhere. The reason people made rules for it is that there were sororities and individuals who would write everywhere and it didn't come off for a while. For example, someone wrote hockey players are hot on the side of the BA some time in September, or earlier, and it hasn't come off. Someone will have to scrub it off.

It makes the campus look kind of trashy especially when they write on the buildings.

Just remember, it's always easier to beg for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
