Try these numbers out. Good news.

Also, my Dad got to watch the BG-MSU game on Sat night, back on Fox Sports Chicago. So this game got broadcast on at least three different Fox Sports channels (Chicago, Detroit, and Hick....I mean, Ohio). Jeff

MINNEAPOLIS - With one week remaining in Preliminary Voting, a pair of
senior goaltenders from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association are
separated by fewer than 1,000 points in Vote for Hobey, the Hobey Baker
Award's online fan voting booth. More than 18,000 college hockey fans
have cast their ballots on hobeybaker.com, as their votes will help
determine the finalists for this year's honor.

Bowling Green's Jordan Sigalet leads all vote-getters with 60,400 points
through Sunday. Preliminary voting closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday,
March 6.

During Preliminary Voting fans may cast one ballot per day for their first-,
second- and third-place choices for the Hobey Baker Award, with points
awarded on a 5, 3, 1 basis. The fans' tally will be combined with the votes
of the 58 Division I head coaches to determine the 10 finalists for the
award.

Final Voting, in which fans can cast one ballot for their top three choices
among the finalists, will take place from Thursday, March 17, through
Monday, March 28. The results of the fan vote will be counted, along with
the votes of the Hobey Baker Selection Committee, to determine the
recipient of this year's award.

The 2005 Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced April 8 in
Columbus, Ohio, the day before the championship game at the NCAA
Frozen Four. The Hobey Baker Memorial Award is celebrating its 25th

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
