No it wasn't. We stayed with them for the first period, but I think they got a talking to between periods from Red. They came out in the second like they were shot out of a cannon. I have to say, the Weasels are bigger, faster, and stronger then we are as a team right now. Nothing to be embarrassed about, that's just the way it is. I thought Montoya made some great saves in close. If he had let one or two of those in, I think the game would have been alot different. We just have to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and try like heck to get a point tonight up there. I think we need to play exactly like we played in the first last night, very defensive and try to get some breaks from there. We limited them to 4 shots on goal in the first last night, and that's what we need to do for the entire game tonight. You can do it boys, we've got faith in you.

GO FALCONS!!!!

P.S. It was nice to see the Ice Arena almost full last night. I hope this gets to be a pretty normal thing, like it used to be!

Great crowd!! And you are right! The weasels came out second and third and really ramped it up a notch, HOWEVER, the first period, WE played the BEST period of hockey we have played in a LOOOOOOOONG TIME!! As fast as the weasels are, we were right there with them, stride for stride and check for check! It's the bar we need to shoot for each and every period we play. As much as it pains me to say so, the weasels really are a VERY talented team. They seem to have a guy in the right position at any given time. It's scary to watch and Montoya who has struggled on and off all year, probably had his best game of this year. I am VERY proud of how well the Falcons played last night! We made a few mistakes and the weasels capitalized on each of them, like a championship team should do. The Falcons never gave up and played their butts off. Fantastic effort that shows how bright our future is!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
