Just let him keep talking. He's showing off that fine OSU education.

You know, he's giving OSU fans everywhere a bad name... uh, more of a bad name.
For his comment about "better stats across the board", they have an identical save pct., but Jordan faced almost 150(!) more shots. But let him talk... hopefully he's busy patting himself on the back and doesn't see that bus coming....

Yeah Jordan has MS, but knowing Jordan he'd rather be known as the goalie of the ccha playoff champion BGSU falcons, rather than that goalie with MS. I think it's safe to say that here we all look up to Jordan and the way he has represented himself, his school and his family this year. Erick or Jimmy, whoever wrote that grate piece on Jordan before, did you save it we may need it again.

The only thing that set me off about it is he said that the athletic department is parading him around for playing through it. I thought someone here might want to clear up the facts for him about the athletic department a little more than I did.

Yeah, I hate that too, because as you put it in the thread, they're NOT parading him. The only mention at all in anything University-related are the releases you've mentioned. Even on the "Jordan for Hobey" page they have, I don't think the disease is mentioned at all before the links, and if it is, its at least 7 or 8 paragraphs down.

This guy just doesn't get the Hobey Baker process, does he? How many freakin' times do you to have to explain to this a**hole how it works. I'm so damn tired of people who think they know what they're talking about, but actually don't have a clue!! And then to accuse the BG athletic department of "parading Jordan around for votes"???? That's ludicrous to say the least. Unbelievable! If anything, Jordan would rather not have anyone bring it up, he just wants to be the best goaltender for his team, that's it!!! Yes, Tarrki had a great year..that's pretty much a given. But the Hobey is also about things that the normal fan doesn't see or know about..it might only be known to those inside and to his teammates and coaches. Get off his case you mindless numbskull and get a clue!! What goes around comes around my friend, it may take awhile. And when it happens, man is it gonna be sweet! I just had to get that off my chest. Why can't people think before they open their mouths and spew mindless drivel, making themselves look like a complete jacka**. God I love Bowling Green!!!!!!
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your support

Wasn't Holzinger not quite the "top player" stats wise when he won it in '95? I think he *did* make first team CCHA, if not player of the year in the conference that year, but nationally there were players with better numbers, IIRC. The fact that he was a stand-up guy (from all I've heard) and excelled in the classroom helped vault him to the Hobey.

My apologies to all on here.
I think I am actually prompting Mulletboy to post even more ludicrous accusations about Jordan that he normally would, but it's too much fun poking holes in his logic. So if its angering people I'm sorry, but I think pretty much everyone on that thread that's not an OSU fan realizes how classless he is (and how incredibly far off base he is at assessing talent throughout the league).
Something tells me next week's Hockey East awards will be even worse...

That guy on there is an asshat. Always has been and is the number ONE reason I have never joined the forum on there. Obviously by my name on here I am a Hawk, but I joined this forum cause it has common sense and intelligent posters abounding. Quite like our own.
As for his "OSU Education", he probably went there for 3 semesters like everyone else. Sorry, I have this habitual problem of ripping OSU. I am sure you don't mind.
We all know the All-Conference selections are strange sometimes, but in my mind Jordan was a worthy recipient of this. Stats are stats, but for some reason a team that was in the gutter the past few years (albeit his fantastic job before) and now BG is on the cusp of some great seasons ahead. Including this one. Like someone else pointed out, it isn't always stats, but team leadership and involvement.
Ok, so my disapointment is Nate Davis. How he was left off I will never know, but I am not losing sleep over it.
Good Luck against Alaska.

Thanks for your post.
I had wondered about Davis as well. I think what ends up happening in all the leagues is that there's 12 slots and there's always more than 12 players that make a tremendous impact on their teams and the entire league.

Very true. It is very difficult to select players. Nate will get his sometime as most good, young players do. Imagine how hard it is to get the Baker! Or All-American status in any sport?!
Go Miami, Go BG, Go anyone as long as OSU and Michigan don't win the tourney!

I second that!!
I actually have a soft spot for the RedHawks (except of course when they're playing BG!) and I'd love to see them knock off sparty!
