"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

As many BG voters as we get, my fear is the fact that NMU beat us this year, finished ahead of us in the standings, accompanied with our first-round flameout, NMU making the Super 6, and Tarkki getting 1st team CCHA over Jordan, the Hobey Baker ship has sailed. I hope I am wrong, but for the first time in the campaign I am having my doubts.

FYI: Tarkki let in 6 in their loss to UAF last night. Let's hope those who vote (ie; coaches) look at ALL of the criteria and not just stats, like they are SUPPOSED TO DO!! We still need to get the vote out, top fan vote in this round still counts!!!!NY-BG-FAN wrote:As many BG voters as we get, my fear is the fact that NMU beat us this year, finished ahead of us in the standings, accompanied with our first-round flameout, NMU making the Super 6, and Tarkki getting 1st team CCHA over Jordan, the Hobey Baker ship has sailed. Last time I voted Jordan was up by a huge margin, though we still gotta vote for him again and again!BGDrew wrote:Starting later today, the official top 10 list will be released on hobeybaker.com:

I just realized today that you apparently can only vote once---not everyday. But apparently you can change who you want to vote for. Kind of confusing.
