Very cool. What sort of order those in?? Weird.

Wonder if they just toss those after the event, would love to have something like that to hang in the garage. . .

I was wondering the order myself. There were also some on the sides (Colorado College I think) that you cannot see.

I did not realize MSU has only won it twice.

Mitch,

Watched the 2nd game last night between ND and Minny. I love that Dashing Cam they use on the boards. WHY DON'T ESPN AND FOX SPORTS SHOW MORE COLLEGE HOCKEY??? It blows the NHL away.

Mitch,
My 1st reaction was WHY the heck in Columbus?....but after seeing the pix you took, I can't complain...neat to get the publicity, even in Central O....btw, still have to send you some $$ for the GMAC DVD, if you've still got any left....let me know.

the attendance for the first game (although listed as a sell-out) was not full. Both teams from Colorado, but they traveled well. I think Columbus could have done a better job to promote it however.

second game was full. The fans from North Dakota are pretty crazy.

overall it has been fun.

Saturday I have suite level seats, compliments of a certain beverage company which will remain nameless.

I did see some other orange & brown folks at the games.

we are hoping to make it up for the Spring Game on the 16th.

I will bring some copies of the GMAC bowl game up with me.

that CAM is awesome! It was on the opposite side from where we were sitting. Haven't had a chance to see the coverage on my TIVO yet.

I wonder if you put some chewing gum on the rail it would stop it?

one drawback to the FF is there are no beer sales, unlike at the Blackeyes games.

That Cam gave you a view you would never see sitting in the stands...it was like being right on the ice!

UND had cheerleaders on skates. I Loved IT! I assume they have a banner in your Ice Arena for your NC. Maybe the NCAA will give the Univ. that banner....

The ones in the arena with all the schools' names and championship years get moved from year to year. They're at every Frozen Four. They never seem to hang in any particular order... just however they get tossed up there, I guess.

The dasher cam is neat, but I don't think I could watch an entire game by dasher cam.

Coach Paluch is floating around here somewhere, but I haven't seen him yet, which is sad, because I wanted to say hello.
However, this Frozen Four is OFFICIAL, because I have already seen Enrico Blasi. Don't ask me why, but I run into him every single year!

Those banners would have been alot better if they were in team colors.....then we would really need to get that one for our ICE Arena. By the looks of the '84 banner now, it's time to get a new one.

I think the problem with that (aside from the expense, which is always problem #1 with the NCAA) is if a school changes colors. I know Western Michigan doesn't have a banner, but they did change colors at one point.

That dasher cam drove me nuts. It was hard to see anything develop in the neutral zone as all you could see was the player with the puck. Furthermore, there were a lot of times that they took too long to switch the angle and we missed seeing some good scoring oppertunities.

Two thumbs down IMO
