Just an excerpt about College Hockey and the loyalty of the fan base, and mentions the 1984 BGSU win in this week's SI!

I know they didn't even get to the super 6... but we still nearly packed almost every home game. Gotta give us props for that.

I think you should try re-reading that. I'm reading it as a possible compliment for returned support for the team.

Hockey is definitely on its way back, and when we bring in a big team the Arena is ROCKING.

When i saw this topic's name I thought, when'll be more than a 'brief mention' again? I hope it doesn't take another 20 years for that to happen. 8)

No, it won't take 20 years....I expect the hockey team will get a LOT of positive press in the next few years. Our future looks brighter than it has in a LOOOOOOOOONG time!!!
