Former Falcon and NHL goalie, Mike Liut's son, Justin will be a Falcon this coming season!!

"Texas Tornado forward Justin Liut will be attending Bowling Green State University in the fall of 2005. Liut's father, legendary NHL goaltender Mike Liut, also attended Bowling Green from 1973-77. "Justin was not a player that was heavily recruited when he joined us, so he has come a long way in the time he has spent with the Tornado," said Curtale. Liut worked hard in his time with the Tornado and had an exceptional stretch of games in the second half of the season, particularly in the road games against Wichita Falls. "Justin found a style that worked for him and for this team, and it paid off for him in the long run. I know he is working very hard to become a player that will consistantly be in the line-up during his time at Bowling Green, but we are very proud of him."

) know who battled Liut for net time during his tenure at BG? Just a little trivia for ya all. I think his initials were "A S" but I could be mistaken. If I am correct, this goalie was quite capable as well, which gave us a great luxury of being able to rotate keepers.
