...but, it is WAY too close to the puck dropping for there to be so little discussion in this forum. I need quotes. I need prognostication. I need rumors.

I need anything to help me forget that I am stuck in the MIDDLE OF A FREAKIN' DESERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am most curious about our new goalie phenom. Any and all info is welcome!

This could be the year to beat scUM and the Bucknuts. This team is VERY strong and with a little more chemistry this season could be magical.

I'm excited to see who wins the goalie position, but I'm anxious to see how we're going to replace perhaps the best goalie BG has ever had.

Drop the damn puck, I'm ready!

On ice, full team practices, with the coaches start Oct. 1st. We play the Windsor game October 3rd. Then on October 8th, they are going to do the Brown and Orange game, with a meet the team afterward, prior to the football game. Unfortunately, this is also the day AZZ will have a tent at the pre-game. Currently the coaches are allowed to have "mini" practices for a short amount of time (not sure how many minutes), with 4 players at a time. Also not sure how often they are allowed to do this. They usually do 3 players and a goalie.

All the new lights over the ice are in now. Player and coach response is VERY positive about that and how much better they see down the ice!!

The long awaited feasibility study is finally going to happen.

That's all I know for now, BO!! Hope that is enough to keep you happy for a little while. :D

I am very excited for this year. I would love to see BG win 20+ and beat those OSU bastages as well!

Matter of fact, this year I will sell 50/50 tix for basketball only...I get tired of missing the hockey games while selling thu the first period!

Look for the Freaks to attend at least 5 games this year...and no wisecracks, BG Fan.

Losing both Sigalets will surely be a loss, but Paluch has this team going in the right direction, IMO. I don't go to as many games as I used to, but from what I've seen there's little to not be encouraged about.

If anyone has any film of us, say 5 years ago, pop that in and compare it to last year's team. We're playing the game at a much higher speed and intensity level than we did under Powers. Buddy was a great guy, and knows the game, but he just didn't bring out the best like Paluch does. The fact that we actually have players able to leave early a la Jonathan is a good testament to how far we've come as a program.
