Since watching that horrible football game  , I can't wait for the icers to get going again... I was wondering what the line combos are going to be this year... I think

Foster Matsumoto Falk
Geelan Mazzei Svendsen
Whits Pilks Unger
Ericks Dobey Meloche

Given that Matsu and Foster are the two leading scorers on the team I believe that the plan is to split those two to spread the scoring potential out a bit.

It won't be long before we find out, though!

I'd actually like have a true "Scoring" line. The best teams have 2 good offensive lines and 2 good defensive lines. The major question is depth which I know we got.

BG would like to have 2 good offensive lines also which is why we'll probably be splitting Matsu and Foster. My guess is Matsu and Foster will join Pilkington and Unger on the top two lines.

My guess for the top two lines:
Matsu, Unger, Falk
Foster, Pilkington, Whitmore

Those two lines would have very little drop off, if any, from one to the other. For that reason I can't really say that one line is better than the other.

Defense wise I'm not sure. Do you match an offensive defenseman with a defensive defenseman? That would be my guess since, as one pinches in you can have one fall back into a defensive posture. My biggest fear is seeing both d-men pinching in and the puck squirting out to the neutral zone leaving the goalie hung out to dry. I've seen it too many times and it drives me nuts.
