What does everyone expect for attendance in that game? Is this game a likely sellout? I'm wondering if I should be getting tix before the day of the game or not.

Why would you want to go to the game? We are WAY undersized, but hopefully our quickness will let us compete?

I'd get them in advance just to be safe. York is still very popular here and I expect there to be a good crowd. Will it sell out? Who knows, but there's nothing else competing with the game as far as I know, so it might.

I'm too lazy to Google right now, but any word on how Coach York is doing healthwise?

No news is good news I suppose. The last I heard is that his surgery was extremely successful.

I wish I was there to see everything this weekend  .

Oh thanks factman, I wasn't going to even mention the slight size advantage BC has over us but you sorta asked for it. Went to their roster site and they do have alot of guys at 6'1, 6'2, and 6'3. One dude they got is 6'7 and 240. But frankly that aside it might be their speed that gives us problems. Its should be an exciting I hope.

Size isn't quite the advantage in hockey as it is in other sports. Two of the highest scoring players to play at BG were well under 6'. Nelson Emerson (all time leading scorer) and Greg Parks (5th in scoring).

BC averages 183 for forwards and 192 for defensemen.
Bowling Green averages 186 for forwards and 190 for defensemen.

I'd say that's pretty much a wash as far as any size advantage is concerned.

It would be great for BG to have the SRO issue again... I went to so many hockey games in the 80's and 90's and there would be 4500+ for most games. The Ice Arena is absolutely a mad house when it is packed...

"NOBODY!"

You're right, the Ice Arena is one of the coolest places on earth to be when it is packed. Unfortunately I only got to see that on a handful of occasions, but I get the feeling that those days will be back again very, very soon.

The Ice Arena may not be the most attractive building on earth, but it sure is fun - and that is all that matters in college hockey.

And much brighter now may I say.
