McConvey was named one of the captains of the Idaho Steelheads. the season started last friday, and the Steelies proceeded to sweep the Long Beach Ice Dogs thanks to five points from D'Arcy, who is second in the ECHL in scoring and first in goals scored with 3.
so it's a very good start for both McConvey and the Steelies. also, someone on the board asked about Jeremy Mylymok. he made the team and is playing his sixth season with Idaho.

Thanks for the update man. Keep them coming!
(I was the one who asked about Mylymok, too, so feel free to include him in all the updates)

it's all good...
STEELHEADS MCCONVEY NAMED REEBOK HOCKEY ECHLPLUS PERFORMER OF THE MONTH
PRINCETON, N.J. - Idaho center D'Arcy McConvey and Toledo defenseman B.J. Adams are the Reebok Hockey ECHL Plus Performers of the Month after finishing tied for the league plus-minus rating lead with +6 in October.
In his second professional season, the 24-year-old McConvey has scored in every game to help Idaho to its best start ever at 5-0-0. McConvey leads the team in scoring with nine points and is tied for the team lead with six assists. He was even or better in each of his five games, including a season-best +3 on October 29 and +2 on October 30.
he better slow down or he'll get called up, and us steelie fans can't have that...

Good for D'Arc!!
It's a shame that Idaho doesn't play anywhere near Massachusetts...
