Surprisingly this thread has nothing to do with the Big 11!

I'm talking about the Lawson Lunatics, of Western Michigan fame. Everything they are saying can be clearly heard on the game broadcast as they are directly below the broadcast booth. These kids sound worse than Michigoon fans, honestly. On penalties (I'm pretty sure) they are saying: "See ya, BITCH!" Huh? really? And this from the LL info page on www.wmubroncos.com :

No vulagrity or abusive lanquage and behavior. Lunatic members are to represent Western Michigan University with the utmost class and respect for the opposing teams, Bronco fans, and visitors to Lawson Ice Arena.

Seriously, the "sucks" stuff is, in my mind, not all that bad (though I concede that it is offensive to other people). I can not imagine taking children to a game at Lawson based on this broadcast alone!

When i went to WMU for a football game like 2 yrs ago they seemed pretty classless then, too.

I expected to see some amount of stupidity from students around the tailgate parties, but there were some minors and familys involved in it. I'm pretty sure at that game one of our posters was attacked by WMU fans. It may have been one of the player's mother. I forget.


Anyways, it was a great walk out of their place after a BG win.
