UM came out firing on all cylinders, 2 goals (1 even strength and 1 PPG) in the first 5 minutes. BG settled down a bit and could come back.

It sounds like we're playing like crap...sure wish we could get some more shots on goal... too many breakdowns....it really sounds like we play flustered at times

we are getting absolutely blown out of the yost, it seems that once the players had to start attending classes again after winter break they started to play like they did before break and before the 6 game win streak...i find that kind of interesting

Whatever the problem is, this is an unacceptable performance. Totally unacceptable. This team is so much better than this, and they had better get things figured out. Quick.

and the answer is: Paluch needs to go now. Outcoached by far. He stinks.

And you know everything because?????????
"0" Defense again...plus "O" offense.

Hard to believe but the defense, including Spratt, are playing one of their worst games this year. Except for Morrison (1 goal) they are hopeless tonight. Bronson and Ralph may have been a better fit in tonight’s game along with Horrell in net. In last Saturday's win, Ralph had an assist and team leading +3 but has not played since. Bronson is a tough kid and could help on the PK. Horrell has the experience so it's difficult to understand why he did not start.
The offense is also playing poorly tonight. In addition another short-handed goal is just not acceptable.
Watch a practice and you will see a different team, so what's up?

From BG teams of the past, 3 penalties in the first 4 minutes of a game will make them very tenative for the rest of the game.

This team frustrates me! I'm still waiting to see this powerhouse hockey that I heard about before I enrolled at BG. How much longer are we going to have to wait. Everytime there's progress it seems we fall just as far back.

I think what Bleeding meant to say was that firing Paluch isn't the best idea at this time.

Yeah, something like that.
What I really meant to say, though, was something ot the effect of: F--- that guy!

I watched the game and seriously it was very painful to witness. It seemed like Michigan had 9 guys on the ice to our 5, the team gave Jimmy absolutely no help and turned the puck over at least a dozen times in their own end.
I know that BG hockey is making strides, especially after the OSU sweep, but tonight was a gentle reminder of just how far the program has to go to reach the upper class of not only the CCHA but college hockey itself.
Hopefully the boys can turn things around on home ice...they certainly need.
