First eye view of weak play at LSSU

The reason we lost against LSSU is that we had about 3 to 4 players looking like they wanted to play hockey on those nights. On the first night Jon Horrell was swamp with power plays and breakaways. The defense was non existent. The second night Jimmy Spratt let in 2 goals on freshmen mistakes. One he didn't trap the puck with his body he just tried to use his leg to pin it and the second was a 2 on 1 where he took the same guy as the defender. Brandon Svendsen has proven himself a leader and should be captain next year. He did everything he could to help our team but it wasn't enough. Plain and simple we got beat by a team with better intensity and preperation, they were a step ahead of us on nearly every play and that makes champions. Hopefully we'll play hard against RIT with Bob in goal this weekend and finish this season on a high note going into the playoffs.
P.S. Jeff Jakaitis is a jerk off and likes to push the opposing fans into doors.

If Pooch ever makes a Sophomore a captain, I'll eat a bug.

No offense to Svendsen, I like him alot, but BGFan is right on this. I would, however, like to see him eat a bug.

Ah, but you see, since that will never happen I won't have to!

I don't think it will ever happen either, but I think we should establish some ground rules on this bug thing.
No chocolate covered ants! It has to be an icky bug, like a cockroach, and it has to be alive right before we see you eat it. Though you may kill the bug before actually ingesting it.

I think the only bug most people in this forum would ever eat is a tequila worm.

I thought that I made the conditions perfectly clear as to what would need to happen for me to eat a bug. Therefore, unless those conditions are met, the probability of it happening on purpose are extremely low. I have, however, been forced to swallow a bug when riding my bicycle if that satisfies you. It wasn't pleasant but I hear they're loaded with protein so at least it didn't wreck my Atkin's diet at the time. (I know, I know, I need to go back on it...)
