I'll be the first to admit basketball isn't my cup of tea, but what an impressive feat. Two-peat and dancing again. Could this team possibly get a 6 seed?
Congrats Coach Miller and the women on a fantastic season.

Nah, a #6 seed is out of the question for sure. Maybe a #10 seed. I hope we could somehow get a #9 seed.BGDrew wrote:I'll be the first to admit basketball isn't my cup of tea, but what an impressive feat. Two-peat and dancing again. Could this team possibly get a 6 seed?

A 9 seed would suck. That means a dance with a top 5 team in round 2. No thanks.
I'm hoping for an 11-12 seed, but I'm thinking a 10 is more likely right now. I think it's very unlikely we are outside of the 10-12 range.

Honestly, with the way we destroyed Toledo and Kent in the semis and finals of the conference tournament, I think we're likely to end up with a 9. That stinks, I hope the NCAA "screws" us and gives us a 12. I would pity the #5 and #4 seeds that would have to play us in that situation.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:falconboy wrote:Nah, a #6 seed is out of the question for sure. Maybe a #10 seed. yeah a 12 seed would give a easy way, I would take an 11 seed too, but I hope we're not into the 7 through 10 range, Besides that great job going back-to-back ladies, good luck in the Big Dancebgsufalcon24 wrote:Honestly, with the way we destroyed Toledo and Kent in the semis and finals of the conference tournament, I think we're likely to end up with a 9. I don't care who we play....at the rate this team is going, bring on anyone. Why not? This team absolutely believes it can beat anyone...I think the Falcons win at least 2 games in the NCAA's. Just a gut feeling...

That would put a bit of a kink in the plans of A LOT of tournament brackets wouldn't it? Not that I mind, and I really think that they can do some damage in this tourney. I'm not sure how many people fill out brackets for the women's tournament, but I can't really see how somebody couldn't take BG out of round 1 at least. I mean, they would at least see the records by the teams and they'd see us at 28-2 facing off against a team that's 21-9 or something like that. When I fill out the brackets and I see a team that's got 4 losses or less, I almost always take them on past round 1 regardless of who they are playing and regardless of what seed they are (unless they are a 15 or a 16)bgmaggot00 wrote:That would put a bit of a kink in the plans of A LOT of tournament brackets wouldn't it?
