Speaking of news coverage...for anyone who gets the Akron Beacon Journal...look at Sunday's issue...I dare you to find a prominent mention of BG winning on the front page of the sports section.
Typical BJ lack of BG coverage. Lindsey Shearer wins in her own way...heythat's all fine and good, local girl makes good kind of angle, great student, etc.
But what was thhe score of the game? In Bold?

You should know by now that when Akron and Kent win they get on the front page. When they lose, they are in the back pages.
Poor Lindsay Shearer...crying and all on the front page. Although I will give credit to the writer, Gary Estwick. He mainly wrote how BG dominated the game and basically buried Kent State...no sugar coating for the locals.
BG shut Lindsay down...period.
