Wow, some of you are just clueless. No one has overlooked anyone. Period.

Oh yeah - bite me.

No biting needed. Just making sure we don't get too carried away. I'm as excited as anyone here. But looking to a possible game with Purdue is really shortsided I think.

Did you even read what I wrote? Or, did you conveniently select what you wanted to focus on so you could be a negative douchebag like you always do?

You can most definately bite me.

Why? That game would only be two days after the UCLA game. We now have a week of nervously excited time to kill. Why not talk about things like this.

I think the mood of this board is cautiously optimistic. That's just fine with me. I didn't give us much hope of beating K-state last year, and I was lambasted by some around here. The ladies proved me wrong last year by almost pulling it out, and this team is much better than last year's team (obviously). UCLA is talented for sure, but K-State had a legit B-12 player of the year candidate along with one of the best 3-pt shooters in history and we shoulda had them last year. I think this will be a very good game, and I hope we come out on top.

...and UCLA has 3 perimeter players that will more than likely play in the WNBA. UCLA is better than K-State, we're better than we were last year. We'll see what happens on Sunday.

I would definitely agree with this. The question lies in the degrees.

I'm just hoping that we can shoot the ball well from three. If we can be around 40%, I think we have a great chance. If we're below 20%, we're in trouble.

The X factor will be Jazz. She has the quickness to play with UCLA's guards, but she'll have to play like an upperclassmen to be effective at all.

Dude, is everything OK? I started the doubting of this thread, so direct it at me, not falconboy. .. He actually backed up what he said. Yes you threw in a cavaet. And then you proceeded to dissect exactly what a game with Purdue would be like.

Just settle down a little bit, the fact that a couple people kinda said the same thing about this thread looking ahead should show you that falconboy maybe has some sense in what he's saying?

What are they putting in the water out there?

Yep he did dissect a game with Purdue, do you know why? That game would only be 2 days after the first game. Should we wait until after we win to try to gather up support for the second game. NO. It needs to be done now. Talk about how cool it would be to win the first game now. Get people excited about the chance to return and play Tuesday night. The intent of this thread was to make sure we get fan support for the second game if we make it. All he is doing is encouraging people to go if we make it, (and Purdue as well) because we will need lots of fans for that atmosphere, probably more than if Purdue would lose just to help create a more positive envioronment. Its not like he was talking about getting people to go to Cleveland for a 3rd or 4th game. That can be done after we win the second
