Defending champs picked 3rd behind CMU and WMU. Considering BG has only one SR on the '06 squad and only 4 starters back speaks volumes for what Coach Richards has done with this program.

The 2006 edition of the Falcons will open the season on Friday, Aug. 25, at Marquette. The home opener is one week later, as BGSU faces Xavier on Friday, Sept. 1, at Cochrane Field.

SR Lindsay Carter and JR Janie Babich are the co-captains for this season.
