Congrats Carin!!!

Post by Jacobs4Heisman »

for going over the 1,000 point mark tonight!

Check out this line:

25 points on 9-14 shooting including 5-8 from behind the arc -- 7 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals, NO TURNOVERS. When Carin plays under control like this, and hits her shots, she's the best player in the MAC.

Yep -- with Shearer and Coleman gone, those 4 will be on the short list for MAC POTY honors. It'll be hard to get it with all the balance on this team, but they've all got a shot. They're all shoe-ins for first and second team all-mac.

Ali will probably have the best shot, unless Carin plays like this more often. Liz and Kate do a lot of things that go unnoticed, but help the team win more than stats bear out.

I agree Ali has the best shot, I think she'll end up winning it

Another thing to note about Carin Horne--she is set to graduate in December. Yes, that is right--she is graduating in 3 1/2 years. Quite an accomplishment.

So you're saying she's a show-off? Probably sits in front and answers all the questions, too. :-D

This makes me miss this women's team more than you all know, and I used to HATE watching women's basketball.

WOW, Carin is going to graduate in December. Pretty major accomplishment for someone with a forensic psychology major with a sociology minor. I am so proud of her for making the 1,000 point club. She has always been one of my favorite players to watch.
