Well Pittsburgh's first round site is holding two 1-16 and 8-9 matchups feeding into the Fresno and Dayton regionals. So if we are on that 8/9 line, Pittsburgh would almost be a certainty, especially with the
geographical advantage of being put in the Dayton regional.

East Lansing is hosting a 6-11 vs. 3-14 matchup in the Dallas regional, as well as a 5-12 vs. 4-13, again in Dayton. If BG rises to any seed 4-6, or gets a 12 or 13 as the last two years, East Lansing is probably a lock. Based on Charlie Creme's bracketology, we're an 8 seed now, and he is usually pretty accurate, though its obviously early and we are a "rising" 8 seed in his opinion. If BG does make it back to the NCAA's, I'd say Pittsburgh --> Dayton as an 8 or 9 is by far the best bet.

IMO we could be anywhere from a 6 to a 12 seed depending on how the season turns out. The Delaware game will decide alot because they are ranked so highly.

I would love to go to Pitt. The Peterson Events Center is a fantastic facility. And, while in Pittsburgh, I could eat any number of meals at Primanti Bros.

If we were to go to Raleigh, then I would recommend the 42nd St. Oyster Bar. Nothing better than a nice cold Weeping Radish Black Radish to go with your dinner. I believe Hammb, Grant, UK, and PGY (among others) would enjoy a nice Weeping Radish.

Is the Women's tourney using the same pod system that the Men use? If so, the seed assignments for each venue are EXTREMELY tentative and are sure to change on Selection Sunday based on who actually gets the top 4 seeds in each region.

And I still think that an 8 or 9 seed would be the biggest nightmare possible for the Lady Falcons. Not that they should be scared to play a 1 seed......it's just not a good thing to have to do so on opening weekend. I've always felt that 8/9 seeds, regardless of who they are, get screwed the most.
