My first chance to watch this team

I just got the tape of the UTA game in Cancun. My coaching friend sent it to me right before she got fired this week for a bunch of BS. But her last good deed was to get me the tape, I just got it in and am about to watch it.

Cool. Too bad you don't have tape of the Duke game as well.

I really liked a lot of the things offensively and defensively. As a coach, I thought that they played a little too sloppy for periods of time. There were too many unforced turnovers, and UTA seemed to get quite a few open lookes from the three. If they would have hit a few more, it would have gotten interesting. But that's nothing to take away from BG. They had just finished playing Duke the night before, and it's hard to get up for two games in back to back days. I thought the girls came out and really executed for the first few minutes of the game, but that's when they got sloppy on offense. I really like watching this offense. The way they come off of screens, cut to the basket, and find the wide open shooter is great. All in all I was pleased. But remember, any criticism I have is based on a coaches perspective, and from a coach not happy with the way his team is playing right now. But I really love the makeup and drive of this team. The potential for a good run in the tournament is very high.
