We need every true (and considering becoming true) Falcon fan in Anderson Arena tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM. The Toledo Rocket women will be trying to make their season tomorrow. After listening to our men's game tonight at UT and their crowd, we need to be ready to do some serious cheering of our own. Our women deserve a huge turn out. Cold weather and Super Bowls are for fair weather fans. This may be the finest team the MAC has seen and we need to be there.
Update on incoming players:
Tracy Pontius and her Morton IL Potters are 20-1 (only loss to defending big school state champs). Tracy had 24 and four threes last time out in a 20 point win over East Peoria. She QB's a great team and is having a great year.
Post Kelly Zuercher had a monster 32 point game at Smithville. Unfortunately, her Waynedale Bears fell to 14-2 with the tight loss. I was told Kelly is essentially being double teamed in the league every single night.
Dublin Scioto is rolling at 17-0 and ranked fourth in the state. Crystal Murdaugh scored ten in light duty in a 67-23 win over Watkins Memorial. She saw enough time in another blow out over Big Walnut to score 15, grab six boards and block two shots. Against a better club, she had 23 in a win versus Desales.
Could Scioto eventually see Jen Uhl's Wadsworth team in the tourney? The Grizzlies are ranked number one in the state. Stow is 15-2 behind Lee Jennings. Jennings exploded for 34 in a 62-50 win over Hudson.
Bianca Hooten's Canton McKinley team has quietly been racking up some good wins. They are now 12-5 and Bianca hit for 13 in their latest win over Lake.
Jonathan Alder's Lauren Prochaska continues to score as she is averaging over 32 per game. She also grabs 12 plus rebounds a game and shoots better than 80% from the foul line. Her last two times out, she had 40 in a 66-55 loss to Buckeye Valley and and a hard fought 15 in a tight win vs. Westerville Central.

Re: Wear Orange and Get Crazy! Plus Incoming Player Update.
Seems like we have a really sweet recruiting class coming in, especially Prochaska. We might have a bit of an adjustment period next year, but it looks like past that possible blip on the screen we're a juggernaut once again.falconfan1 wrote:We need every true (and considering becoming true) Falcon fan in Anderson Arena tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM.
