Best of luck against Vandy!
Hope you guys win. I have your ladies picked to go to the Elite 8. For the longest there, I thought my bracket was screwed.

In fact, I think the announcers today said that no MAC team has ever made it to the Sweet 16. Can anyone confirm this?bgsufn wrote:You know, going into this game, all I wanted to do was win ONE tourney game. Now that we've done it... and since it's been since 1989 that we were in the Sweet 16... I wanna win again!!

Although I probably should have kept my mouth shut. I just ruined the pool for everyone after the Vandy game.

Great quote.
"It was a real physical game," Goldsberry said, sporting a black eye indicative of her aggressive style of play. "We knew that it was going to be physical coming in. Coming to the NCAA Tournament you expect that. I just have to be smarter."
bless her heart. That statement is totally indicative of how these girls manage themselves. She got her jaw jacked twice and got called for fouls on both and says that she needs to be smarter rather than complain about the officiating.

I can't say it loud enough or often enough.....Oklahoma St. beat the living crap out of Kate and got away with it all game long. I don't even want to think about how bruised up she must be.jacojdm wrote:I like what Kate said, too.greg1 wrote:"It was a real physical game," Goldsberry said, sporting a black eye indicative of her aggressive style of play. I hope all of them went directly to the nearest whirlpool and massage therapist after the game and then got about 10 hours of sleep.
Knowing Curt, he got them up at 7am for a practice.
