Tracy Roller just signed a contract worth a base salary of $181,000 per season. That's approx. $61,000 MORE than Curt Miller gets from BG. Oh, and the University gave her a brand new $30,000 car too.

If Roller gets $181,000, how much should Curt get from a school in the same conference with the same athletic budget? $200,000 base salary? Based on results, I'd say even more but $200,000 is a nice place to start.

By the way, Roller now gets paid more then Men's coach Ronny Thompson. I think that is very cool and shows other institutions in the conference that there is no reason at all that your men's coach MUST make more than your women's coach.

The biggest thing it says is have success and represent the university well, and you'll be rewarded. While she has yet to make the NCAA Tournament (thanks a lot BG ), she's been to three WNITs (the program had never been in the postseason before that). She's earned the contract.

I hope that no one got a motor in the back of their Honda. It would mean that they were unwittingly sold a Corvair, or something of that ilk.

I'm as worried about Roos getting wooed (near pun intended) by another school as I am Coach Miller leaving. He's said he'd like to keep his staff together, but he would be their biggest booster should they get offers to move up.
