I've known about Carin's MS for a few years now... she's definitely an inspiration. Great stuff! As always... so proud to be a Falcon knowing the character of the other Falcons we have around us.

Same here...it definitely gave me a lot more respect for her with how hard she always played!ZiggyZoomba wrote:I've known about Carin's MS for a couple years now... she's definitely an inspiration. Just a reminder... if you go to http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/ there's a link there to the National MS Society's website. You can do online donations there. Also, the Bike-to-the-Bay is coming up and most people know SOMEONE who is participating... please consider pitching in. I can't think of a worthier cause.

I'm with both of you. Especially in light of the effort she always gave on the offensive boards and on defense. To hustle on the court the way she did while dealing with some of the effects of MS always made me very proud. I'm glad she came forward.Metz wrote:Same here...it definitely gave me a lot more respect for her with how hard she always played!ZiggyZoomba wrote:I've known about Carin's MS for a couple years now... she's definitely an inspiration. Tremendous coverage on Carin's story following the release and the Barn Storm event in her hometown of Lima. Just watched the story dominate the local Fox sportscast along with Coach Miller's comments on the matter and Carin's incredible career.
I will be watching the other stations in a few minutes and I am sure they will carry it. Curt did a great job with this story and addressing the group which included many members of Carin's family. Carin was in class at BG as she pursues her masters.
Fox said it will report on the other BG Barn Storm items tomorrow. Wonderful crowd in Lima and a super job by all student-athletes on hand.
Young kids were really mezmerized by some of these big football players.
Go Falcons!
