Was a close game throughout, just went final. Don't see a box score yet.

I listened to most of the 2nd half. Tara Breske had a double/double, points and rebounds, and other than that it was a "ho hum" game.

12-23 from the FT line, very uncharacteristic for this squad. A bit of a hangover game, nice to get a win no matter who you're playing. Safe to say they'll need a better effort to win against the Blue Hens.

Is there something wrong with the ladies right now, or am I just jaded by success? We got beat up by IU on Sunday, and now we sneak by St. Mary's by 3? Maybe I'm completely off base here, but it seems to me like the team is in a bit of a funk right now. Perhaps the ND game and how close they came to winning that one is hanging a bit.

Then again Achter and Co. are still 7-2, which is pretty good. That being said, we'll need a better effort against Delaware

Any young team, regardless of talent level, is going to have some peaks and valleys over the course of the season. That they were able to win tonight in spite of that is a bonus. I trust that Coach Miller will have the ladies re-focused for the game against Deleware.

We beat Mount St. Mary's, a school in Maryland. St. Mary's is a school in California.

Like Falconboy, I, too, had no idea that this game was tonight. Didn't someone make a Google calender for all of the Fall sports (Drew, maybe?)? Could someone post that link again, por favor? I don't know why I didn't download it when I first saw it... :?

Failing that, could someone take a minute to make a post saying "Hey! We have a game tonight!" if you don't see anything mentioned about it here? Please? Jeez. What a bunch of jerks you all are.

The game started at 5 yesterday and I didn't leave work until 5:40...No gametracker either! :(

Just found out we won and read the recap. Close, tough game...but we gutted it out and got the win.

Delaware will be a very big challenge...

Any other year Freak - absolutely. This year, we should handle them. They are currently 1-8 with an RPI of 233. They've lost at home to La Salle, MD Eastern Shore, and Quinnipiac (all by double digits) the last 3 games.

This would be a very bad loss for us if we can't pull it off.

And there lies the challenge. We played just well enough to win last night against a team with only one win...on the road. I think BG is the better team but they need to be focused all 40 min and take care of business. I think they will. :-D

TOGETHER WE ATTACK
