Yeah, I was probably having the worst time physically in AA last night. The flu just sucks. Yelling or cheering was out of the question as my dry throat wouldn't allow it.bgsufalcon24 wrote:I think it was lackluster because Falconboy had the flu and didn't cheerThe Niz wrote:Not the best game I've seen all year. Usually the girls games are a lot of fun, but tonight was just kind of lackluster. Good job by the ladies to get the victory with the flashes gunning for them.![]()
Seriously, the weeknight games are never as good because our crowds are generally terrible. Good job by the ladies to fend off a run by Kent in the 2nd half to win, they were making every shot in sight the first 8 minutes of the half. And Niz is right, the refs were HORRENDOUS in the 2nd half. I recall one play where #21 of Kent going over the back on one of our players and our girl got the foul called on her. How the freaking heck does that happen?!This conference needs better officials so bad.
About the refs. I can't believe how one half could be so inconsistent from the other. The 1st half was called pretty fairly I guess. The 2nd was just ridiculous. Kawolska got away with a lot in game and yet Tara gets all the BS calls and ends up fouling out. I think we're gonna need to develop some more of our bench posts like Bugher who did see some time today in I don't how long. I think Prochaska's only serious competition for FOY honors just became Jen Uhl. I still think LP gets it but way Uhl has been playing as of late I don't know how she doesn't at least get a chance at the 6th man award.
