I agree, even if they were still set to go to the dance, you still don't want to lose, especially to a 0-16 MWC team. They won't be anywhere close to a #3 in the tourney now

I'm not saying you would want to lose a game like that but its obvious that Utah came in that that game with no major motivation whatsoever. Utah's coach probably played his bench players most of the game to save there starters for the NCAA's.

I guess its possible but Creme today has only dropped them down to a #4.
