Anyway, she's from Carmel, which I promise not to hold against her if she wins four NCAA titles with the Falcons.

BG gets verbal from Indiana
For the class of '09. (Or would that be the class of '13?) Either way, the girl's a junior now. Falconboy, your crush will have to wait at least another year.

You mean she'll be a Falcon frosh for the '09/'10 season right? Sounds like another awesome pick up by Curt Miller.TG1996 wrote:For the class of '09. (Or would that be the class of '13?) Either way, the girl's a junior now. Falconboy, your crush will have to wait at least another year.![]()

She tries not to hold the fact I am from Pittsburgh against me. She converted to a Steelers fan and Pens fan, but the Pirates not so much. She has been a St. Louis cards fan her whole life. Sorry off subject.
Welcome to BG!

My Indiana sources tell me C Steffen is a truly great get for us. Not only did she lead her HS team to the state title with an MVP performance but she also lead her AAU team to a title in that basketball crazy state.
Known as a relentless player, she is also a very fine student.
Apparently, most of the Mid American Conference and others were on her, but she will be a Falcon. When you add this scorer to the rebounder/scorer in Papenfuss, we really have a couple standouts in that class.
Go Falcons!

With C Steffen joining Papenfuss , doesn't that shore up all our schollies for '09? We lose only 1 player in Golds next year so thats what I'm thinking. Replacing Golds will could possibly be tougher than replacing Kate Achter. What she brings to the table as far increased possessions for BG with her stand out defensive play and hustle(tying up for jump balls, steals, charges) the list goes on. It'll be tough to find a player that does all that and does every game no matter what.falconfan1 wrote:My Indiana sources tell me C Steffen is a truly great get for us.
