I am sure no one is really surprised at this. In a college atmosphere you tend to expect these things.

This is part of the price Niki has to pay for her mistake. In some ways, this is almost worse than the three game suspension. Its embarrasing and it effects her teamates.

Just think if our arch rival...say Toledo...would have come into Anderson Arena on a 22 game win streat with our best player having transferred there, coming off a DUI. Think our students might have had a similar welcome for them?

Half of the folks here would have been praising the Anderson Animals the other half would be saying they were embarassed. Its typical college fare. You expect it and move on.

I am just glad we're on this side of the situation.

Agreed. I was there, and not very far away from the loathsome group of crAkron students, and as disgusted as I was, I understood that it was to be expected, and something that Nikki and the team would have to fight through. It seemed to me that it affected Nikki's performance, but I would have been disappointed in her if it hadn't. The team did a great job of shaking it off as a group and focusing on their game. As for the end when Coach M walked down the bench...I thought he should have done it much, much earlier in the game.

Don't get me wrong, though. From the opening tip it took every fiber of my being to keep from jumping the ten rows and fifteen feet of hardwood and showing those pieces of s**t what I thought of them with my fists.

Uh, you quoted the wrong person there.

Rollo made too good of a point to tarnish it with the drunken ramblings of a ... well, whatever BleedingOrange is... one of those. :-D

Those same loser Zip students are at every game...men, women, Vball. They harrass the opposing team from start to finish and nothing ever creative. They're just plain assholes. :-D

Best way to shut them up is usually how the women's hoops and Vball teams do...beating UA.

GO BG!!! Way to get #23 straight...I was listening on a radio back in BG and love beating CrAkron.
